I'm home, but my app feels slow to respond

When you're at home, the app is designed to connect directly to the hub over a local network, which should give you a very fast connection.  Occasionally your app may not recognize that you are on your home network, resulting in a connection via remote control.

Usually remote controlling your system through the cloud is fast, but sometimes, if there's a bad or intermittent connection somewhere in the loop, you could see temporary performance problems.

If your mobile device is on the same network as your hub, but you think the app isn't connecting directly anyway, you can try to force it to re-discover the hub by logging out and logging back in to your app while on your home WiFi.

If the problem persists, you can also try logging in locally.

Please note that while logged in locally, you will not be able to control your system once you leave your home's WiFi range without signing back out and signing in with your Ecovent account.
