The Ecovent app rejects my Sensi Security Code (Android device).

​If you are receiving the following error message on your Android device: "We could not connect to your Sensi thermostat with the provided security code." 

  • Is the Android device running an operating system version 6 or earlier?
    • If so, you will need to delete the Sensi ad hoc network from the device before trying to enter the code again
    • The network name will include the word Sensi followed by numbers (i.e. "Sensi 1234-5678")
  • To delete a saved Wifi network from your phone or tablet, all you need to do is go to the Wifi section of your settings menu. Find the network you want to get rid of. Long press it, then choose "Forget."
