If you are having trouble connecting your Vent while installing your system, the Ecovent app will help you to troubleshoot your installation.
If you are still having connection problems:
- Check that the Vent you are trying to pair has a flashing light next to the battery pack
- This Vent should be the only Vent in this state; if other Vent's have flashing lights, unplug their battery packs
- If the Vent has a solid light, and you still cannot connect the vent, reset it by briefly pressing the reset button next to the status light
- If the Vent has no light showing, check that the battery pack is correctly installed with the batteries facing the correct directions, and the pack is firmly inserted into the vent.
When connected, the Ecovent App will show that it has successfully connected/paired and the Vent light will appear solid.
