While you are at home, you can use the Local sign in option to skip by Ecovent's cloud and communicate with your hub directly in the home.
While home, connect to the app locally using the following steps:
- Enter the main menu of the Ecovent App and sign out
- Tap the homeowner screen and at the bottom select "Not connected to Internet?"
- Follow the prompts on screen to connect to your device locally
- This option is only available if your smartphone/tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi router that the hub is plugged into and will not work outside of the home
In case you are unable to sign in and cannot reset the password, please follow the same steps above to connect to your system.
